Remarkable from OHD - I don't remember a Warwickshire bowler getting a fifer in the first hour of a match in my time following.

Quite, we've just witnessed one of the great spells there.

The nearest comparison I can think of is Sean Pollock taking four wickets in four balls on his Bears debut - but that was a 50 over game.
OH-D must be in the running to be the most popular Warwickshire player of all time. Maybe in their day Eric Hollies and Gladstone Small were similarly admired and viewed with great affection by supporters and fans.

Need to back up this great start from OHD. Don't let them recover!
Nonetheless, we are greatly weakened by the loss of Stone, Norwell and Woakes. Will they even feature again this season in the red ball format?? I have my doubts.

Great spell by OH-D. I remember when he first arrived and everyone was wondering what on earth we had done. Certainly proved a lot of spectators wrong (including me). Let's hope he can finish the job after lunch because no-one else has posed a threat.

Great effort by OHD !

Can the commentators stop going on about the weather...we know how hot it is.

And doesn’t this sum up our bowling perfectly….. OHD smashing it. No threat from anyone else.
Just need to take advantage now and put themselves in a position where they are complete control.

Brilliance from OHD once more. I despair with the rest of our attack

Well Brookes has got one but it was from a poor delivery. They all count though, and it was Billings so fair play.

Now let's hope our openers can get us off to a good start and we can build a nice first innings lead

I'm afraid LE has sawn off both Sibley and Davies there.

Yet another poor performance by Davies, it must be wonderful to know you'll be selected for everygame regardless of how badly you perform.

Can only assume he's been given a decent contract and they feel like they can't not pick him as a result. Looking like a very poor piece of business so far.

It’s scary to think where we would be this season without OHD and Hain.

I dread to think too. Our batting this season didn't really start off too great, and hasn't got any better at any point. Relied on one man performances in each innings where we've scored okay.

I’m not sure what to make of this pitch.
Seems to be offering plenty to the bowlers, and seems like it’s difficult to get in, and wickets fall in clusters but once a player has got in, they can score runs.

Rhodes’ dismissal was a shame as he was set and careless. Mousley then chased one and Burgess seemed to get very good ball early.
