Can you buy a ticket on the gate tomorrow?

I could swear I saw a news posting on the Club website with the squad details but it seems to have disappeared. Based on what (I think) I saw, Chris Woakes is not, after all, in the squad.

He's in the squad.

He’s in the squad, but will he play? We know how funny England can get. Probably works in our favour England are batting today so no bowler can be injured and England request Woakes is wrapped in cotton wool.
I think he will play but there’ll be a limit on the number of overs he can bowl.

Interestingly I saw last week Woakes went and did some work with Pop Welch. I still find it bizarre the club let him leave, best bowling coach I can remember in a very long time.

He wanted to go.

In the squad along with Rushworth, Simmonds and Kai Smith. Be interesting to see who gets picked, wouldn't want to predict. I've mentioned it before, but I think the real limit on Woakes isn't some ECB mandate, more that his fitness will dictate what he can do.

I think the team selection tomorrow will be:

Yates
Davies
Latham
Hain
Webster
Barnard
Malik
Woakes
Bamber
Rushworth
OHD

After last week's defeat I think Westwood will pick a more experienced team and leave the younger players out. Taz Ali & Simmons were hardly used so it's seems more than likely they will both be replaced tomorrow. I guess there's a possibility Kai Smith could take the gloves, if so then he would come in at 7 for Malik.

As above but Smith for OHD, is the latter injured? Surely Kai will be the keeper otherwise he's going to bat at 8 which seems odd. Very strong batting line up, so good we've won the toss.

A double blow this morning. Yates out early and Clive Eakin on commentary.

It's a decent delivery but you can't be forcing off the back foot against the new ball like that.

Live Scores are still showing Davies as Keeper. I can't believe, that when were actually in the field, Smith won't be behind the stumps - it's just too ridiculous, to have him in simply as a batsman, going in so far down, when an extra bowler would be much more valuable (especially a spinner).

The team has an unbalanced look about it again. I think it's a risk playing both Rushworth & Woakes, are they going to be able to handle a heavy workload if Worcester bat really well?

Bears imploding at 179/5. They'd recovered well after two early wickets went down. Hain and Latham looked comfortable. Latham out when he looked to be heading for a ton. Then Webster 2 and Barnard for a duck has put Worcester in a much improved position now. We need Hain to steady the ship....

We’re scoring slowly, is it a tricky pitch?

Looking at the BBC live feed there have been a lot of very close LBW calls so I'm thinking it's a tough pitch if the opposition bowl straight.

Smith given out caught off his shoulder, nice.

Davies got a shocker too. This pitch looks a bit two paced, hard to start on but once yer in you'd fancy the batter to get a score. Expect wickets to fall in clusters.

Malik’s LBW looked marginal as well.

This seems like it should be a good pitch for our seam attack.
