I'm surprised that Jake L has been given another chance. Must be last chance saloon for him in the Blast?
I'm less surprised that Kai is still there, but I really don't know what he's contributing, (just) batting at 8. They really should give him a go behind the stumps, he's never had chance in the T20. One less duty for the Captain.

Davies giving his wicket away with another silly shot just when it looked as if we might get going........he should have been caught the previous ball but Revis messed up his feet on the boundary.

And now Mousley throws his wicket away after a pretty iffy innings.........no need for shots like that when there is a good score on the board

Hain with a ridiculous shot makes it 3 easy wickets for Yorks

Latham out but he was using up a few too many balls.

Does Moeen really want to be here?

When we need a proper innings from him, he just chucks his wicket away lazily.

Yorks really are a poor team but we are staring down the barrel again.

There is something not right when we are struggling badly against some very poor teams who seem to have a togetherness that we lack

Davies has to be removed from the captaincy, the very thought the man is captaining Barnard, Hain, Latham and M. Ali, begs belief. We do make the most awful decisions as a county. He is the most uninspiring county captain imaginable, and it’s showing.

Agree about Moeen. But Smith has annoyed me. 7 overs for him to show what he can do and yet like the others has simply thrown his wicket away

Sorry to bang on but this is terrible batting

Swashing away at balls that are just not there to be hit

No wonder Edgbaston has been half empty at best so far this year. It is a pretty long/awkward round trip for me to get there and I dont think I will be bothering to catch a couple of games this year for the first time in a while.

The talent is their but the application isn't and there seems an arrogance about us that I do not like. I think it stems from Davies but the players need to take their own responsibility for such poor displays.

Not good enough.

Some people only post on here when we're struggling I swear...

Anyway, lovely little cameo from Garton here, he can bat...

Davies seems untouchable as captain. Think there's a certain arrogance about him where he thinks he always knows best as I'm sure we will see shortly when we field.

Yes but we're struggling when on paper we should be one of the better teams in this format. People are just really disappointed.

Great finish.

I know we’ve made some poor signings in recent years but credit where it’s due, Barnard must be one of the best signings of any county recently.

Honestly the crying on here sometimes...I'd understand it after the game but during the game...

Great lower order hitting, interesting to see how the 2nd half goes here as this is another difficult ground to defend on...hopefully we've developed and improved since Notts away...
