Don't think yer as devastated as he is.
Yes I think the fact that Taz is fairly tall means that he can get above the eyeline without appearing to get too 'loopy' or floaty. It's the way he's getting his wickets too which is impressive, he's outfoxing batters as opposed to relying on batters to make mistakes. And his googly is well disguised, there's no obvious tell.
Like I said he's picking up some decent scalps. Kent looked short on seam bowlers but had a useful batting line up. They seem to have been ravaged quite badly by the Hundread. Irrespective, it's always good to give those tories a smashing!

Ha ha ha!
Don’t even jest. It may still come from him!

yeah he's getting a nice proportion of bowled and lbw
A key factor with Taz is that is economy rate is very good for his style of bowling, by not bowling loose balls every over he maintains pressure on the batsman.
For him to develop more it would be a good idea for him to spend the winter playing a lot of cricket overseas in a country with good facilities for developing spin bowlers, possibly a winter in Sri Lanka would be the best option.
Yeah I think that's fair. He spent time in Pakistan last winter didn't he? And time with the England squad I think.
Regarding Taz Ali’s height, not all leg spinners have been tall. Eric Hollies was quite short as was (obviously) Tich Freeman. But Richie Benaud and Shane Warne were reasonably tall. So I guess height may determine how you flight the ball but not necessarily how good you are. I had a fondness for Josh Poysden and was sorry that his career came to a premature end.
Yep leg spinners need flight and loop as well as turn.
Ali seemed to be bowling too quickly on Sunday but the results indicated otherwise.
He’ll need to be a lot more consistent and methodical to bowl in the Championship.
Given his background he’s unlikely to play in Sri Lanka but a winter in Pakistan would help his development especially if someone like Mushtaq or Yasir could have a look.
