Alex Strain is turning out to be a very promising wicket keeper/batsman. He has got a few 50's for the Under 18's this season and taken a whole bunch of catches (and a stumping or two). One to look out for!

Alex has been picked up from the York club side, starts at Uni in Brum, next month. A bit of a coup to get him for our Under 18's all this Summer, he was at the Headingley Academy. Let's hope we can keep him for 3 years - and if good enough (he does look very promising), get him on contract.
