I think this is the key one.
Worcestershire without Ali are not particularly threatening. I think they will lose more matches now. I’d expect us to beat them twice. I’d expect us to beat Northants too.
Notts will be tough, not so optimistic.
But if they win against Yorkshire today that should be 4 wins from the last 5. Getting to 17 points, which I don’t see Worcestershire or Lancs getting to.
Lose it and they’d probably need to win all of the last 4 to qualify.
And as we’ve seen this team is all about momentum. Get 1 win, they’ll go on a run. Seen it in both red and white ball this year. So this is the one for me, get some positive momentum and I think they’ll qualify.

I am surprised Ethan Brookes is named in the squad as he has been batting for the seconds in Leeds today.

A fantastic result, but to be honest a bit of a let down for the spectators.

Not taking anything away from the team, after a couple of iffy performances it was terrific for the bowlers to rip the Yorkies apart. Also for the openers to see it through very comfortably.

The points and the run rate bonus are very welcome.

A bit of a a let down for spectators.....are you serious? Half empty or what? Believe me, I had a very enjoyable night and I don’t feel let down.

Bit of a let down? Na, always good to give Yorkshire a doing.

That was so easy it was scarcely believable. All done and dusted in under 2 hours!

Pleased to see us go back of a length up front and nick a couple off with them fending off the back foot. It's aggressive tactics and they work on pitches like this, other sides have been doing it to us. Good in the field again, Lamb's catch was particularly good, it was always going away from him, his fielding has really improved. Couldn't imagine anybody but Michael Burgess behind the stumps for us these days. Pleased for Hose, he needed that, he kept his shape better tonight.

Back on track, we're good again, crisis over!

And, to cap it all, Durham lost as well. I'm pleased for Hose, I thought he'd either have to drop down the order, or even risk being dropped. Perhaps someone (Trotty ?) has had a serious word with him, about slowing things down a bit ? And, at last, the bowlers all worked and contributed. A great team performance, which will help confidence no end - hopefully, the start of a run ?

‘A bit of a let down’ in terms of a good contest between the two teams. A win is a win and always to be desired. Beggars should definitely not be choosers but after the terrific effort by the bowlers (which was very enjoyable) it always seemed a formality. I would happily see lots more of wins like this than losses like to Durham.

As I said a fantastic result, very much needed and deserved.

I must say Burgess has been tremendous, it’s great seeing someone in top form behind the stumps.

Great to do it in style by 10 wickets than to have a great bowling performance and then mess about before getting over the line with 5 down. Too many expansive shots by Yorkshire, a bit like we were v Derbyshire.
