Interesting interview. At no point was there any talk of / by Robinson, just a welcome by Larsen. Strange, I would have thought the Head Coach would have been saying something!

As I said over in the 'End of Season Review' thread, PERHAPS I'm reading too much into Mr Robinson's absence - but perhaps not!

Well here's something I certainly didn't know about Ethan Bamber:

I thought that Jim Troughton was the only Bear with an acting pedigree.

Yeah I remember there being a big thing made of this when he broke into the Middlesex side.

Be interesting to know if his father has ever been in the same film/play as David Troughton.

Or maybe with Granddad Patrick Troughton - Doctor Who meets Hitler. I'd definitely watch that.

There is something from the 80's when this happened, can't remember the name of it unfortunately. Was a series I think.

Think Troughton was a regular and Bamber was in 1 episode. Or the other way around.

There's a fascinating interview with Bamber on The Cricketer website. He comes over as extremely humble as well as being very thoughtful about his career.
