Just Ali in for Yates then. Crazy. I know I've been impressed with Sylvester at 2nds level, but this is a huge step up for him. I've no idea why Bamber isn't getting a shout. And has Yates been dropped / 'rested', or is injured ? If the former, I would have thought bringing Mo Ali in for Sylvester would have been another option - we've got 3 seamers already, the extra spinner would be good and it certainly lengthens the batting.

Trouble is most people in the country will wonder where the Bears come from!! Needs to go full circle and refer to Warwickshire Bears.

Indeed but at least now we’ve dropped Birmingham then the media should follow suit! Charles Dagnell just referenced our conversation on air and they’ve all stopped doing it now. Just need the BIR on the graphic changing too!
