Not sure about "Getting away with Yorkers" as some of them were good and the general thing about them is they are hard to hit if they are bowled properly, but isn't that the problem during certain games, the inability to bowl full and straight when we have bowled too many wide or short deliveries.

when nailing yorkers consistently is 'getting away with it' i have to wonder if the players can't win with some people

I think we are getting closer to a team that could do well in the competition. Barnard batting at 5 is a good move and dropping Moeen down to 8 is probably where he is at these days. Replace Smith with Malik to bat at 6 a with Garton at 7 and we should be well stocked with lower order hitters. Gleeson comes in for Lintott.

I wouldn't be happy if I was a Yorkshire supporter. They never do anything in T20 and are an extremely poor team again this year. Their only plan seems revolve around Malan batting through. Still, we can only beat what's in front of us. Let's see if we can back it up today.

Surprisingly, Yorkshire only have 5 one-day titles in their history. Maybe when it all started, because they were winning plenty of Championships, they were not that bothered about limited overs cricket but their modern day record is awful, only 1 Lord's final win since 1987.

These are all excellent suggestions...

I haven't seen any reports on Gleeson since it was said that he limped from the (IPL) field with a suspected hamstring injury. Hamstrings can take an age to heal, especially if you are not in your cricketing prime.
