An excellent all round performance, particularly impressed with the fielding, we looked very sharp.

The main thing for me is a lesson learned that keeping wickets in tact with sensible batting can pay dividends, both Davies and Latham looked in total control and very comfortable.

It is a shame that the Derbyshire all round performance was so poor, which slightly takes the gloss off the result.

If we can match this level of performance at Somerset then it is definitely game on.

I would be interested to know what our plans are for the quarter final. Is Latham available? Has Hasan finished for the year? What is happening with Beau Webster? All these questions and more need to be answered by the club but I suspect they won't be given how poor the communications are right now.
