Fortunately not a costly drop!

I've said a few times I like him but he has a long way to go with the gloves.
Think the game is 50/50 at the moment. Thought we bowled well.
Sad day for the region however R.I.P Ozzy
Yes it's a disciplined, solid, albeit limited bowling attack but they demonstrated that if you bowl as a unit pressure can bring wickets. We did bowl well.

Ben Foakes doesn't drop many.
Hopefully we can mop up the last two wickets early and get to work on a decent total.
What is actually worse, a young keeper dropping a chance, or experienced batters regularly getting out cheaply to totally inappropriate shots putting the side under pressue, or an experienced bowler delivering numerous full tosses and wides in a short spell?
All keepers drop chances, but if we want our young players to develop to reach their full potential, they have to be encouraged, supported and given the chance to improve to achieve their potential.
So we are currently playing with a kookaburra ball in the hopes that players who may one day play in the Ashes in Australia get used to it. Meanwhile, the players who are actually going to Australia in the winter are playing with a Dukes ball.
Muddled thinking?
Yet again the game is slipping away from us as we can't get the tail out

We lack any real pace to blow tail enders away, nor imaginative captaincy.
What Corey and OHD must think when he's gone to Mousley who just been smacked for two sixes..
We trying to throw the game away here

Beyond a joke now. Dan hasn't bowled well for ages (Blast games). If we don't get the third bowling point its not acceptable.
Really not helpful to shout rubbish when Mousley is struggling to get through an over..
The captaincy this morning was worse than abysmal, it wouldn't be acceptable in a club 4th xi side, as this is meant to be one of the leadingg first class sides in the country.
The position of Davies has now become totally untenable, and change is needed now.

I have to agree that was awful stuff from Davies. Felt like we'd given up and just handed them an extra 30 runs.
Thank you, good to know I'm not the only person who can see who our main negative factor is.
Sums Davies up though - not inspirational in any shape or form.
Westwood surely has to make a change soon, enough is enough.

I agree with you again Highveld. Never a captain in a million years though I think there's a batsman in there once he's removed (hopefully) from the role.
Yates 4day form is very patchy...
4-2..what a morning
