Here we go again with the killer 9th wicket partnership.

Etahn Brookes looks brilliant, the difference between the 2 sides thus far, 11 sixes in the match. I think.

Well done Mark Robinson for not giving this lad a chance whatsoever.

7 down now. Not certain this is a good thing. They were batting so slowly I think they would have found a declaration difficult.

Yeah don't think they knew whether to stick or twist after lunch.

200 runs for Ethan now in the match - can't we swop him for Davies?!

I'm certain Worcestershire would say NO. Even if we added money to the deal.

Worcestershire have enough, it's just a case of how many overs they want to bowl. Tomorrow is supposed to be hot and sunny so we want players to knuckle down and bat big. Who do we have who can do that?

Why isn't the leggie on at the tail ender?

Is Tazinjured? Just two overs?

Why are Worcestershire taking their own time out of the game here?!

There are supposed to be about 30 overs left today. That isn't going to happen so you have to wonder why Worcestershire are still batting. I wouldn't think that there are going to be more than 20 bowled but can't say I am bothered, I doubt we could have chased 330 so they are just eating up overs.

Maybe they want Brookes to get his second century of the match. Anyway, Davies should be relieved of his captaincy duties as soon as this horror show is done with.

1st over...

If you take out Yates do we have an opener to replace ?

Feel for Yates there, that has kept awfully low, you don't expect that from the new ball.

Well that didn't take long - 9 left to save the match.

Not sure a lad who made 93 in the previous game is in drop territory yet...he's definitely in patchy form though and needs to show some consistency...not sure what he could have done about that ball though...

Fair point ! I think I'm just fed up of this opening partnership

Another wonderful contribution from what some here claim is "the best opening partnership" in the championship :-)

We need two new opening batsmen for next season.

Davies walking off then looked a broken man.

I probably looked a broken man sat in the stands watching him tbf...

Nothing Yates could have done with that ball.......nipped back and kept low

Davies on the other hand.........
