Kent won the toss and put us in.
Thilan Walallawita is in the bowling side.

I see that Booth is in the team - that's good news.

Lintott as opening batter and captain -surely he couldn't replace another opening batter and captain?!

The Captain has got a ton - so, yes, he could be on the rise! A Trophy winning Captain, an opening bat and a cunning left arm spinner - who could ask for more?!

And still can’t make the championship side! Captained the 2nd trophy winning side, six fer last week and now a hundred. One wonders how much door knocking he has to do?

On another tack, was Taz injured last week as he only bowled 2 overs in their second innings on a drying pitch when they needed to get them out?

Good to see a century from Lintott. I would be logical to assume that he tries to improve his batting now the novelty about his left-arm wrist spin has worn off a bit on the first team circuit. good for him - nice example of a growth mindset. Like to see Booth playing as well, I presume Hassan is off for the season now, hopefully Booth takes his slot in the first team roster.

Interesting game developing. Kent need 271 to win on a spinning wicket. Another 50 no for Lintott following his first innings 122. Having another good game for the 2’s! Should be an exciting finish tomorrow with a bit of luck.

In the four Seconds Championship games this season, we've lost by 1 wicket, TWICE and 1 run (one clear victory) - what are the odds on that?! Such bad luck.
The one huge positive to take from this game though, is Lintott's 122 & 50no, a 'five fer' and 8 wickets overall (40 overs, 160 runs).
