I was impressed by Vansh Jani yesterday. He looks a player at only 20 years old. Some classy shots in his 41 runs on debut. One to watch for sure.

Well, that was a great 82 runs today by Jani. So mature looking at only 20 years old. This guy will go places if feel!

A big plus - he looks to have time to play his shots, the sign of a class player.

Highly impressive start to his Bears career. We need to make sure he’s not poached by another county - pretty sure he’s currently only on a rookie contract until the end of the season, let’s not lose him!

The solution is, if he looks the part and makes runs then give him a contract as soon as possible. We have lost too many good players over the last 5 years and to lose one who has only just started, could mean the pain of watching him score 15+ years of runs for another county.
