Good luck to the Bears this evening, i am hoping we can put in a good performance and pull off a win. I do think we might go with the extra batsman tonight, so maybe Malik in at 7?

OHD playing his first T20 match since the quarter final loss v Essex 2 seasons ago.
Great start from Yates.
We are in danger of not getting to 200 when it looked like 220 about 30 minutes ago.
A somewhat below par score but we’ve got a fighting chance so keep the faith! Good innings from Davies, shame Yates didn’t kick on after a promising start.
Alex Davies top score much to the disappointment of the forum
Scoring rate dropped off a lot. What was the reason for those watching? Pace off was harder tonget away?
Somerset supporters are the worst I have ever seen. You can tell that the banter to our players is not funny due to the reaction of them when taking a wicket.
For some reason, I thought they would be a knowledgeable & supportive bunch but they just seem one eyed, rude & entitled.
Back to the game and imo we were 15-20 runs too short.
Barnard has bowled poorly tonight, this was the wrong choice last over.
What was Davies thinking having seen the whole game pan out.
Really really poor decision to bowl Barnard.
Can’t believe he was chosen after his previous overs, lost us the match.
Yet another season of disappointment
Another quarter final blown. Why was Lintott only given one over?
Very disappointing, changing the mentality of this squad is going to take some work.
Always difficult decision because you have to have Barnard bowling one of the last few overs unless you bring him back earlier for one but the way the scoring was at the end, would it have made much difference? Had he have bowled over number 16-18, the same thing might have happened. Either way, not enough runs and 200+ looked easily on and at one point, I thought 230+.
I've only looked at the scorecard all evening but it looked close. Unlike previous QFs we didn't seem to get battered. Some had very good figures. You can tell even from looking at a scorecard Barnard shouldn't bowl the last over though, I put that down to a gamble a few overs earlier that didn't come off.
That's white ball season done now and it's objectively the same levels as the last few seasons. I still feel we're looking up now though and I sense there was just more belief this season. Even if this was just from looking at the scorecard.
It shows my lack of confidence now, as I hadn't a ticket for finals day, I had one lined up ready to pay once the game was done but even with that many needed, I still thought it could all go wrong. Good job I didn't say "That's it, in the bag, here we go". I have watched a finals-day years ago and it is not the same when your team are not involved. Come on Northamptonshire, I really do not like any of the others, especially lucky Hampshire.
It felt as if we were in control of the game for most of the match, but lost it in the last few overs. Fair play to Dickson, it was a great knock from him to win the game. I thought Lintott should of bowled another over earlier on in their innings, it left us short of a death bowler at the end. Felt sorry for Ed having to bowl the last over, although i don't know why he bowled every ball in the slot ready to be hit. I thought after the first six from Dickson he might have tried to bowl the next ball a little wide of the off stump, but hey-ho. When will we ever get past the dreaded quarter-finals of the Blast?!
Terrible Captaincy (again) in the way he rotated his bowlers. Having considered our bowlers economy rates (over the whole Tournament, not just this match), Davies should never have left Barnard to bowl the last over. And why he didn't bowl Lintott more, was crazy, when the last time he played at Taunton, he took 5 wickets. Just one over (admittedly for 13 runs) clearly scared Davies, a Captain should never be put off a tactical plan, by just one over!
"You can take the boy out of Atherstone, but you can never take Atherstone out of the boy !"
"The Bears and the (footballing) Foxes for ever !"
I had a tingle when Garton came back on for his last over, and the "here we go again" feeling came all over me. We've all seen his long hops carted everywhere in the last couple of years, and this changed the momentum of the game. AD then lost his nerve a bit in terms of bowling changes, and it all started to unravel.
However, overall that was a pretty decent performance, if you look at the players available, and hopefully it won't leave too much of a sour taste when emotions settle down a bit. I think we all know the squad needs a lot of strengthening in certain areas, and losing to what was still a pretty decent Somerset side is nothing to be ashamed of.
A club like Warwickshire shouldn't be fielding an 11 of that strength though, and for me, that's the main takeaway from the night.
