There seem to have been a lot of jobs advertised at WCCC in the last couple of weeks - eight of them at latest count with a variety of titles:
Lead Graphic Designer
Digital Products Manage
Cricket Employability Senior Officer
Cricket & Social Impact Officer
Financial Accountant
Accounts & Payroll Executive
Finance Business Partner
Cricket Cities Community Coach
I'm not sure how many of these are replacements and how many are new posts, but that seems like a lot of vacancies. And still no news of the Head of Media who supposedly was due to start in October.

I wonder if there will be a host of vacancies as far as the England team is concerned. There should be, I feel very sorry for anyone who has spent money to go over there.

I went over in 2013-14. 'trip of a lifetime', I thought, 'wouldn't it be great to watch us win in Australia?', i thought, 'win or lose it will be a great experience', I thought.

sadly only the last one was true, of course. I only got to Oz for the melbourne test so of course the series was already done by then. It was, despite that, a great experience, albeit I suspect much of that was to do with being able to have a holiday with my good mucker (turned out the to be last before he got married). It was also tinged with sadness having seen the unravelling of Trotty and his obvious suffering at that point in time.

I’ve started getting emails from the club again, so maybe some of these vacancies have now been filled.

I don't know if the new 'Digital Content' & 'Media' Managers have already started, but there has been a dramatic improvement in News coverage in the last couple of days. Good articles on the website, on Dan Mousley with the Lions and Beau Webster being with us for the first 3 months of the season.

That's good news.
