Yes, not the best decision to bat first. Up to our skipper now to try and get the score up to a competitive total. But it looks doubtful. Oh, Barnard has just been bowled!!

Commentator reporting that Davies has a slight finger issue which is why he’s not keeping.

Yes, correct. Horrendous shot from Barnard, 2 drag ons now for Price.

There's a bit happening, shouldn't be a 120 for 6 job though.

It’s the hope that kills you.

Still can’t plenty of time in the game though and lots more days of cricket to get through.

Looking better, 220-6 and a superb partnership from 117-6. The 'Wizard' and Smith.

A splendid knock from Smith & Woakes, it's put us back in the game. Still plenty to do though to get a decent score, although Thompson, Bamber & Booth are all useful with the bat.

Excellent partnership from Woakes and Smith, and at a decent rate too.

Kai played so well but he's opened the door for Sussex there with that shot. Now Woakes out. Really, really want 300 minimum here.

Very strange passage of play from Booth. Surely the right approach was to try and move the game forward rather than block it out when there was a new ball coming anyway. The worst case scenario would've been to be all out at the end of the day with Sussex starting a fresh tomorrow.

Added to that kept Thompson off strike for so long that his timing was gone by the time he was back on strike.

Yeah couldn't understand his approach then, and he shaped up terribly, hes better than that.
