A good test for us this weekend...

They're a very good side, especially with Fergus O'Neill in there who seems to be taking wickets every time he plays (and can bat a bit). I'd be happy with a draw.

He's injured.

Still a strong side without him.

Shame both Barker and Gilchrist have been swapped out for this one, I thought they were our point of difference against Essex. We are back to our right-arm medium attack.

Sadly you won't be able to see Davies bat this morning, he was out in the first couple of overs.

Davies seems really out of touch ant the moment, he’s only managed to face 133 balls so far this season.

Not having Barker in the side is a surprise unless he is feeling jaded. Also surprised to see Tongue not taking the new ball but that does appear to be a thing with some counties, not giving a Test player first use of the ball.

Was shaping up to be a decent session, just falling away now with that wicket of Dan Mousley, who played ever so well. Pitch looks a little two paced, ideal overheads though.

Davies failed again. Looks to be a decent wicket, weather is good for batting you'd think. Hopefully Webster and Barnard can put together a partnership....

Looks like Hain got a bit of a shocker

Hain does appear over the last 4 years, to have got some awful decisions, usually caught behind when he hasn't got near the ball. We need everyone to 'Chip In' here and get a good score going otherwise if conditions are good for batting, we could be facing a big deficit unless the bowlers do us another favour.

Did ex Notts Paul Pollard give that? Hmmm...

3 out of the 6 wickets have been done on the leading edge which may suggest the pitch is a little bit two paced.
