I hope our batters were watching Gloucester tonight, they were 7 - 3 after 2 overs chasing 158 but somehow they pulled off an astonishing victory. The crucial part of the game was the 4th wicket partnership between Hammond & Jack Taylor, showing how important it is to get a partnership going in this form of cricket. Let's hope we show the same sort of grit & determination in our game tomorrow.

Yeah great game, showed the value of having a couple of hitters down the order too.

Disappointed that Kai Smith not given a game and also that they are still going with Thompson.

Now that's more like it but can we defend it? Up to the bowlers now.

Nope we couldn't defend it! Save for Woakes & OHD, bowling nowhere near good enough

If we could take the bowling from Friday and the batting from today……

Westwood clearly has a lot of thinking to do before next weekend's round of games. Mousley is back ( I think) from The Lions & it's clear that Davies is badly out of form. Bamber must be considered as well to start on Friday.

Fewer matches in the T20 this season so it's really a case of too many cock-up's and you are gone. At 100 with 8 overs to go, we got a bit stuck, the boundary was far out on all sides but I lost count of the amount of times we hit the ball really hard and straight along the ground to a fielder on the boundary for a single and they managed to bisect our fielders so many times, maybe a bit of practice needed in placing the ball in gaps. The bowling looked poor and majorly disappointed as I sat there from 11.10 hoping for 2 good games and got none.

Not looking like we are very good. At least in previous years we had the hope that one of our match winners would turn up and to be fair it did happen. This lot, you watch in pain, little hope and praying that we don't embarrass ourselves, Still, it was a lovey day in the sun. Will go and have a few good days over the summer, anything positive cricket wise will be a bonus.

Performances like this are more frustrating than Friday in my opinion. Friday was a complete one off which you know just won't happen again. Today though, you play reasonably well but end up not landing a glove on the opposition. Batted well but despite that you did suspect we were still 10 or 15 short.

Bowling wise, I dont want to point to fingers but I do think Barnard just randomly rotates his bowlers and just hopes a wicket comes. I say this because I used to think it in the one day cup too, just letting it drift after the PP. Likewise with the field settings, there was numerous times in the ODC when someone like Lintott would step in and set the fields. Not a knock on the lad, just like to see a bit more conviction and 'up and at em' so to speak from him. If you dont keep taking wickets regularly in white ball cricket you lose, no matter whether you're trying to defend or contain etc

Come on Barney, get a handle on it, son.

James Rew, how do you bowl at him? Looks unreal. The bowling looks about 5mph slower when he's facing. Still feel like the short ball sorts him out and the highest level though.

I still think we can turn it round, no better place to start than New Road...

Where are Garton & Gleeson? There is never any mention of them on the website, the lack of info on there drives me nuts.

They seek them here, they seek them there, those Bears fans seek them everywhere. Are they in Heaven? Are they in Hell? Garton injured, Gleeson IPL.

Jake L - 4 overs, 2 for 25, in his first game for Kent. I think we're going to miss him!
