Malik 73 off 40. He has made a case for selection in the first XI.

It would have been a tall order anyway (23 off seven balls) but the Somerset innings came to a premature end with the last two batters "absent".

encouraging late-order hitting from Bamber and Booth in both games

From what I remember, there is nothing apart from housing near the Taunton Vale ground, and the onsite bar is closed during the game.

Josh Thomas was probably travelling to their first team game, he's been playing in the first team most of the season, and is a very good player.

Also, Bamber, 4 for 23 off his 4 overs, including great 'at the death' bowling, with Coleman's & Vukusic's wickets, when they were cruising at 155 for 5 off 17 overs.

And don't forget Malik's 80 off 33 balls in yesterday's game at Cheltenham.

Him and Bamber must be in for the Blast game!

Oh, Highveld, you've only gone and spoilt my little joke.
(Admittedly, it was a VERY little joke.)

Yes, for Vansh & Thompson I would expect.
