Its interesting to see players who have been playing in the Blast using the seconds to have extra time in the middle. Northants had a few doing that, Worcester had a couple in there, OHD and Kai for the Bears... others (Davies for one) are conspicuous by their absence.

Do players get a choice as to whether they play? Surely if you’re on the team sheet you play otherwise you don’t. It’s the coach who chooses the team.

I'm sure that if a senior player wanted a game, he'd be given the opportunity.

I'd say that Davies, Malik and Yates would all have benefitted from playing in at least one of the two games this week.
