Very much looking forward to Friday and Saturday in Scarborough.

Any recommendations for best fish and chip shop and evening entertainment?

Rennards. There's absolutely loads though and there all pretty good. Gutted I can't make it. Enjoy.

Our bowling has been really poor so far

12 off OHD's first over. All 3 bowlers have been short or wide or leg side.

We need to knuckle down here

A few kept low early on but it seems a slow pitch. Anything short is dispatched through square.

Not sure why we bowled.

Crowd a little disappointing. Don’t know how many fellow Bears here as we haven’t had much to cheer about!

At this time, with the weather like it is, I think most sides want a bowl. In fact, every side winning the toss has bowled this morning.

Nothing wrong with this but you then have to put the ball in areas that give you a chance & apart from Barnard, nobody has. Very poor bowling display that has put us right onto the back foot.

Yes, granted that you have to bowl well. I think that when some sides win the toss and bowl, they search for wickets rather than just bowl as they were always taught and put together with Yorkshire's determination to not play like they did at Edgbaston, we are looking poor. Bairstow said during the week that they were still hurting from their visit to Edgbaston and wanted to really put on a good performance here.

Yeah probably not bowled well enough for long enough to create enough pressure. Maybe haven't always had people on from the right ends either. Couple of decent LBW shouts but we've not looked too penetrative.

Definitely a bat first pitch. Had a good look at the square at lunch. All the Yorkshire supporters saying the same!

We’ve not pitched it up which hasn’t helped!

That's a terrific grab from Davies, don't think it would have carried to slip. He may be short on runs but he really is the best gloveman at the club right now.

Strange how Bamber has bowled more than anyone but his 100 is already up. Looks like we will facing a big total when we come to bat.

469 all out and managed to get the max bowling points.

Why is Davies still opening?

We're in dire need of an opening bat to allow Smith or even Davies to bat 6 or 7. He just simply cannot keep opening.

We're now in the "transfer window". Anyone to mind?
