King of Spain highlighted him as one of a group of players out of contract we might be interested in. I said a top class spinner was a priority and he, Hartley and Zafar Gohar should be seriously considered. Strangely, looking at County lineups this season, P-W is the one I thought the least likely of the 3 - he's been Notts' first choice spinner, Hartley & Gohar have been in and out.

They might be trying to bring Farhan Ahmed through. I'd still be surprised if he come though.

he's probably the most promising young offie I have seen recently, I'd love to see him here.

his figures are better than I expected, CC avg around 35. His T20 SR of 16.2 is excellent, slightly better than danny briggs albeit strike rates in general are higher now than when Briggs started out as teams bat deeper, bat accordingly, and more wickets fall in general. nonetheless 16.2 is very good.

And they did sign an Overseas spinner, Linde, but I think he's mainly white ball.
I agree I'd be surprised about P-W, but it would be a great signing.
