Yes, at last Hamza got a good score (only his second of the season) - and very timeworthy for 1st team consideration.
Nahal also did well - he looks very promising.

Sad to see how Henry Brookes' career has panned out. He looked quite promising when he first came in.
Brookes was loaned to Gloucestershire recently but failed to make an impression there. I suspect he will be released by Middlesex at the end of his contract.
Kept an eye on this, it's actually the nearest pro cricket ground to where I live and was umming and arring to take a day to go there. Also noted Brookes with interest, he wasn't that bad in this game but no real strong case to get recalled to the firsts either. Indeed, you do fear for his professional future. I would have thought, though. some county with a better coaching group than Middlesex could get something more out of him.
Think theres still a player in there if he can stay fit enough for long enough, whenever hes had a run of games he's done OK whether if was with us or Middlesex. He's had so many injuries now though.
