Any changes we reckon?

Unless Barnard is released, I can’t see much. Maybe an Academy batter involved? Not much else to gain from this competition now.

I hope to see Wylie back and Taylor play again (if fit).

Full Squad:

Yates, Ali, Bamber, Barnard, Booth, Davies, Garlick, Garton, OHD, Jani, Lintott, Malik, Smith, Taylor, Wylie.

Barnard Yates Malik Davies Smith Jani Booth Lintott Ali OHD Bamber

is how I suspect they’ll go if Booth is ready to play.

There's an awful lot more flexibility with Wylie, Barnard and Booth playing. As per Andy though, can't see them doing it. Probably need one more seamer.

Tbf you could probably get away with 3 seamers and 3/4 spinners at Edgbaston this time of year, that XI looks ok.

Is it still a realistic possibility to qualify? If we won 5 from here are we gonna go through? Not sure.

Last season all sides that went through to knockouts had minimum of 6 wins. In 2024, 5 wins was enough.

I was probably thinking ahead to Rugby on Sunday which I bet will be a dust bowl. In any case though, spinners have been doing slightly better. Did forget about poor Charlie lad as well, despite him having my name, he's probably more deserving at Edgbaston than Ali, then revert for Rugby.

Having Barnard and Booth back will make such a difference. I'm concerned about Ali's form but he is young and hopefully he will grow the more he plays. Wylie definitely deserves another shot.

No Booth :(

Lost the toss batting first.

Feel so sorry for Theo Wylie.

Barnard's automatic in this format.

Surrey look desperately light on bowling here.

We’ve got the platform to go very large here. Watching on stream the Birmingham End straight boundary looks tiny?

Only slightly, wicket very central. Good crowd in.

Outfield in remarkably good nick considering the weather.
