Where's all the money gone Tom?
Today's missive from HQ reminds me of the Ken Wheldon days down the Blues
If only Warwickshire played 5 days cricket per fortnight (a balanced diet of 4 and 1 day cricket) through the summer months of May June July and August - they might have held onto a decent figure for their membership right now. Bound to be lower than Worcestershire this year
If counties are finding 4 day cricket difficult to justify surely 3 day cricket must be back on the table
For 2 reasons..
They can save on the expense of operations for the 4th day
They can fit more of the games into the middle of the season in-between all the other stuff rather than having so many of them in early April and late September
