Gloucs chose to bat.
Thompson and Booth in for Barnard and Taylor.
Theo Wylie must have chinned someone...
I do like the fact we have decent batsmen down to number 10. Good to see Booth again but agree that Wylie is unlucky.
But we do have only 5 genuine batsmen and a few allrounders and it does look short on batting from that perspective so I do hope that one of those 5 can stay in a 'Go Big'.
Supreme from Bobby Yates. He's so dismissive square of the wicket when he's in touch. Really pleased for him to get a first ton as skipper.
Jani had a shaky start but once he got going had a superb partnership with Yates. What a shame in both white balls we have had the disastrous starts.

That pull/swipe sort of shot he plays off the front foot is brutal. Outstanding knock, brilliant player.
Another excellent win, just shows what we can do with even just 1 or 2 of our guys back who were missing at the start.
Can someone remind me how the qualification works? Is it top team from each group goes straight to semis, and 2nd and 3rd from each group play each other for the other semi-final spots?
Yes. Unless anything has changed from previous seasons?
I hope, like the T20, we don't end up looking back at a really poor start in the first 3 games.

Agreed. What could we have done though? During that period there was no prospect of getting any of our guys back from the Hundread. Several seam bowlers injured. And why on earth were our first 3 games all away from home?
Yes, the selection was out of our hands to a certain extent but it is infuriating when that Hundread crap comes along, some of your players are taken and then aren't played. It's hard not to wonder what just one of those players could have done if they were available. A few more runs from a a player in a run chase might have seen us home, we could end up being one win away from being able to qualify.
