28-6 starting with Moseley's wicket. That one he gave away playing a poor shot that was never there (Don't try and hook if it's on the offside) and now we are in the crap. I was there this morning and saw a few keep low and if the conditions stay the same, I don't fancy us to chase 200+.

Very few loose balls from Sussex in fairness since the collapse started (yes, can argue we got their tails up).

Weather looks decent on Sunday so could be the best day for batting. And with the tendency for this pitch to flatten out then it could be a very good toss to win. We do if course need to not be out the game by that point.

Sussex strength with this XI is their bowling, youd fancy us to get amongst them again when we bowl. 2 pretty good attacks on a fairly spicy pitch at the moment. Its clearly very important that we get somewhere near or above their total.

Better weather coming the weekend which may alter conditions, it is going very dark here at times today.

Wicket seems to be bouncy and there is movement but we’ve played some poor shots as well!

We looked to be coasting until the second wicket and we let their last two wickets put too many runs on!

Don't know if we were coasting, more digging in extremely hard against good bowling in tough conditions. The ball beat the bat loads and we'd only scored 3 boundaries since lunch, 2 off edges. And that makes Mousley's dismissal even more galling, Unadkat and Crocombe were coming to the end of their spells, the latter was just starting to look a touch frustrated after a catch going down off his bowling, and then he gives him an absolute gift after having already scored boundaries off the 2 previous deliveries. I couldn't believe it. He just doesn't seem to read the game situations well enough in 4day cricket and i dont think he ever will. Its crazy because in white ball cricket I think one of his key strengths as a batter is his ability to pick up the requirements of the innings really quickly and adapt accordingly.

Sussex have quite a long tail by modern day standards, pretty sure Crocombe has been no. 11 at times this season but they chanced their arm and got a few boundaries away...might need our guys to do the same.
