They seem to be completely overlooking the fact that he's been loaned out for 2 games, not just this one, and that Leicestershire approached us about him.

Besides this a considerably weaker Leics XI than the one that played v Notts last round.

Leicestershire have set incredibly short boundaries. Presumably the minimum. So will be a run fest there. Notts an incredibly green pitch although doesn’t seem to be causing them problems.

Good start from us!

101 for 0 sadly - think BBC cricket site playing up again.

It is now. It wasn’t when I posted it!

They’ve speeded up considerably but as I also mentioned the boundary all the way round is incredibly short

Coincidentally I watched a Youtube video about the laws around dimensions of a cricket ground

I think we can say at the moment that this was a good toss to lose. 48-6, excellent.

Us, Notts and Somerset all lost the toss and have all so far had the the better of the play

Think Crane's been a touch unlucky there...

Quite franky a ridiculous session.

Looks a tough deck, for sure, even that Mir Hamza dismissal spun quite a bit. Going to be quite a tough session to navigate, particularly against Van der Gugten.

Hull not playing either, it really is a poor side they've put out for this match

Right. Can't get much better than rolling a side over for 69 but, indeed, the competition are well placed for BPs as well. Guess this what a title race looks like, play well, other play well, constant battle to get ahead.

Strange situation. Less than 50 runs behind with all wickets in hand and yet it is not certain we will get a first innings lead!

Brainless shot from Mousley.

It is how he is, you accept it because his upside is so good.
It is less acceptable from other players as they fail to provide any positives to the side.
