That's very promising. We have quite a few young and/or mid-career seam bowlers who could learn a lot from Pop. I'm suddenly quite optimistic about next year.

The younger bowlers shouldn’t be short of advice, with “Pop” plus OH-D, Chris Rushworth and Keith Barker on hand.

Brilliant! Our best bowling seasons recently, have been when he's at the helm.

Fantastic news! Best bowling coach around. He will have some great young bowlers to work with and improve.

It is surely no coincidence that the year Pop returns our bowlers have been relentless, accurate and disciplined and are constantly making life difficult for the opposition.

He is such an attribute to the club, I’m honestly surprised he hasnt been utilised by the ECB for the England teams….although I’m very grateful.

indeed- is it also less than coincidental that 27Yo Ethan Bamber has hit fantastic heights this year after a career with more modest achievements?
