Amazing that none our guys have been named in the Lions squads...

I think there would have been more chance of our players being picked if it hadn’t been a white ball tour.

Given the number of players who have been given central contracts and/or named in Lions squads just lately, it has to look a little weird that the only player included from the county champions is Jacob Bethell, who has probably forgotten the way to the dressing rooms at Edgbaston so rarely does he turn out for us.
Even so, it's not easy to say which individuals might be hard done by. Sam Hain obviously; Ethan Bamber maybe; but is anyone else verging on international standard? It perhaps just highlights what a good team performance we put up this year.

Rob Yates catching is international standard.

I would expect Bamber to be selected for the two longer form games which follow the white ball stuff.

It probably helped us greatly that we didn't suffer from International call-ups compared to other teams. I agree though that Sam Hain was looking imperious at the end of the season and should feel very hard done by.
