Do we know if the club is producing a “behind the scenes” type video similar to how they did for the final day of the 2021 Championship?

I’d hope so.

I’d hope so too. They were certainly much more prepared for us to win it this time than last time. Some of the slow motion videos from the final day are superb.

I think we were quite rightly critical of the new Head of Media earlier in the season; but maybe he has now settled in and started to deliver.

On Facebook, there is a slow motion replay of Will Young's catch in the 2nd innings. The camera pans around slowly and manages to get several views of the spectators behind and there I am with a pink shirt on with my mouth open and my hands raised. I will not be sending out autographs because of this sudden fame.

Good news that the top players in the voting for the ECB team of the year were Ethan Bamber and Sam Hain - very well deserved ; and maybe an indication that Bears fans took the trouble to vote.

The usual bullshit from a big know-all in The Cricketer November edition appearing to say we 'Bought' the title and stupidly, it's the 'Letter of the Month'. Again, it doesn't matter what we do, no one can give us any credit when we win the title and we have to hear all this tosh about 'Waving the Chequebook', didn't Durham do that and were relegated because of it. The usual talk of recruiting players from other counties was raised but we have never gone out of our way to 'Collect' superstars. How many on here actually rolled their eyes when we signed OHD, I certainly did as I couldn't think how he was going to take wickets but after a few seasons, he found his feet and became a top player. Barnard and Bamber were just regarded as 'Good county pro's' and not often talked about, exactly the same as the 'Not really going anywhere' players we signed in the past who became better players once they got here, Chopra, Evans, Rankin, Ambrose, Clarke, Wright, Sibley, Rhodes, etc. I have emailed the magazine and hope others feel the same way, enough to look at this 'Letter of the Month' with the disdain it deserves.

Of the XI that played the final game (and most of the final run-in): Yates, Mousley, Hain, Jani, Smith and Woakes have only ever played for Warwickshire

Out of interest who is this big know all?

Stuart Cain is being interviewed on the latest Business in Sport podcast. I haven’t listened yet but will listen on the way to Villa Park this evening. The clips sounded v good! I’m often a critic of WCCC hierarchies but all my dealings with Stuart have been positive!

Poor man's Woakesy, Jimmy Anderson would be some signing to replace poor man's Jimmy, Keith Barker

Jimmy Anderson 44 has officially played his last game for Lancs

One of Paul Farbrace’s first job at Lancs was to tell Jimmy he was surplus to requirements.
I gather Jimmy has decided to retire so not a potential signing.

Mikkyk, I did point out that the majority of batting is from here as opposed to outside signings but it all depends on if my letter is published. Bosworth Bear, The letter was sent in by Chris Grant, Harold Wood, not sure if the 2nd name refers to a place or name. Either way, he does appear to rant like most supporters of non-Test counties. Probably a Somerset supporter, if so maybe he should tell his bowlers not to let lightning strike twice in the same game (v Yorks, Hill and Bess big partnerships 1st and 2nd innings) rather than blame money.

Harold Wood is a place in Essex. So, probably not a Somerset fan, but Essex supporters can be very ...... Essex!
