Sad loss of a larger than life character. I will remember the 2005 Test at Edgbaston when the crowd gave him a round of applause when 100 was scored off his bowling and he had the good humour to take a bow to the crowd.

A fantastic tribute to Shane Warne at the MCG this (Australian) evening. Very moving to hear from his children about their obvious love for their dad.
I would have loved to be there; but at least I can say that I was there when he took his 700th Test wicket all those years ago.
And as a lover of Peaky Blinders, I was amused to hear that he emailed the producers to say that he would like to appear in the series but was told that porcelain veneers weren't too common in 1930s Brum
