Okay, anyone can have a bad day at the office but that's two in a row now. Davies needs to learn that 20 off 29 is not what is required at the top of the order. All that said, no doubt someone will perform miracles with the bat in our next dig.

The only saviour to enable a draw looks to be the weather! Tomorrow in Taunton looks to be wet until after lunch. Somerset will most likely enforce the follow-on this morning. Batsmen need to dig in today......no one day shots (Davies)!

Follow on? You're not allowing for OH-D getting his maiden hundred, then?

...and he only fell 92 short.

I'm afraid OH-D just missed his maiden ton by 92 runs! As predicted, follow-on enforced......we need to dig in!

Davies gone cheaply for nine. 11/1.....not looking good.

11/2, Sibley gone....this is hopeless. Somerset could well finish this inside 3 days....

Disappointing game so far

Great that we have batsman waiting in line to push our current first team

However getting to lunch would seem a tad optimistic at this stage

21/3 now. Awful skied shot from Rob Yates. What was he thinking?? This is abysmal.

That was bad. It reminded me of watching England over the winter. Apart from OHD no-one can be proud of their performance. Sam Hain got a couple of starts but didn't cash in either time. Yates and Rhodes are averaging 13 and 12 respectively, Sibley 22. Let's hope for a big improvement at Lancs.

Shocking performance. Losing by an innings to a team who've had 3 straight defeats is dire. Hopefully Norwell and Mousley are back for Lancs. Be good if Woakes made a appearance soon!

Somerset had actually lost their last seven County Championship matches.
My Deep Extra Cover colleague Harry Everett, who has been commentating on the live feed, obviously enjoyed the change of fortunes:

I played cricket with Harry while I was living in Exeter and know quite a few Somerset supporters through that team (including Annie Chave, I’m not sure if anyone follows her on twitter or subscribes to County Cricket Matters - I’d recommend doing both). One slight positive for me is that this defeat came against Somerset, rather than a team like Surrey or Essex!

I sent Harry some notes about Bears players so that he could feed it into his commentary and not seem too biased towards Somerset. I'm not sure how much he used but I thought it was good that he wanted to do justice to both sides.

Harry was very good and very balanced on what is often an incredibly biased and self absorbed live stream commentary service from Somerset.
