Davies didn't play for Southern Brave again last night, so as that's 2 matches out and Brave don't play on Monday, he could be available for us in the Gloucester game. It's up to Brave if they want to release him though.

Didn't realise it was up to them whether they release him or not!
But even though Brave won their top order didn't exactly fire, he might be in for them next game.
He fielded as a sub last night then was subbed himself after getting injured fielding on the boundary. So not sure whether that counts as participation or not. TBH I'd be pretty surprised to see anyone being released - the conditions are onerous to say the least.
Yes I wonder where we stand here. H Brookes won't have played yet either, does he become available?

The 2 match missed rule might apply to Henry, but there's another requirement that is difficult to fulfill, given the Phoenix fixture list - players are not available if their Undead team is playing the same day. Phoenix matches clash with Warwickshire games until next week.
Henry can’t play for us as Phoenix are playing Monday. Davies is injured so he won’t be released, brigs is back though which will strengthen the bowling against a stronger glos side

Yes Briggs back, no Norwell (pulled up in the warm up Friday). No Garrett in the squad, that seems harsh. Is Johal injured?
Preview from the Gloucestershire perspective:

When they say "Warwickshire last played Gloucestershire in List A cricket in August last year and were at the wrong end of an eight-wicket defeat," what they really should have said is that Gloucestershire were at the wrong end of a defeat because thanks to a Dom Sibley hundred, the Bears won by 8 wickets. It's either poor writing or wishful thinking.
Norwell is made of glass unfortunately. It's tough on the body being a fast bowler but so many of them have recurring injuries these days (Stone, Archer, Robinson etc).
We just can't rely on Norwell staying fit for any length of time and will have to accept that until his contract is up.
Good news that Briggs is back. Brings some much needed balance to the team.
Won the toss fielding
Decent start!!!!
Wow! This is 50 over cricket though so plenty of time for them to recover.
That was weird from Barnard - the keeper and slips all went up convinced and he shook his head.
Unbelievable figures from OHD
Excellent all round bowling performance.
Very good win and we do seem to be lucky enough to be in a really weak group.
Great start to this tournament. We need to go to another final. You do start to get withdrawal symptoms after a while.
As comfortable a win as I can remember.
Definitely a good toss to win, pitch seemed fairly lively throughout.
Burgess is doing something exceptional every game now behind the stumps.
Excellent crowd I thought. An enthusiastic crowd too.
I said it the previous 2 seasons but I really enjoy this comp, win or lose. Shame there's not more games. 3 groups of 6 and play each other home and away next season perhaps?
How are the groups determined? Nice to play some teams that we don’t get to play very often in the T20 or Championship.
