Rugby school is probably the best option available. It's a good well prepared playing area, in a town with good rail links to the West Midlands.

The main field used for first team games has a shaded grassed bank for viewing, plus I'm sure there will be many hundreds of folding chairs available, as well as temporary catering facilities.

Indeed. I totally approve of the vision the club have with this. And that's coming from someone who lives just three miles from Edgbaston. I'd quite like this to be followed up with a 4-day game during summer at an outground like Rugby School in the near future.

What will make or break the experience for most is of course the weather. Having multiple games at the ground will help avoid the set up of the site for spectators being a waste of time and resources.

We would have to be extremely unfortunate (or possess a ground like New Road) to suffer three completely rain ruined days during August.

Bring on the folding chairs whilst we peer through gaps between other spectators in order to try and get a glimpse of the game.

Oh and the portable toilets.

Any parking available?

Potentially a lot of space for parking on the site, definately a lot more than at Stratford or Binley Road!

The ground is about one mile walk from Rugby station, along a mainly flat route.

The school has an excellent catering operation, so there shoould be oportunities to see hospitality packages in a pitchside marquee, as well as the usual selection of mobile burger vans etc. for the county age group festivals last year there was an mobile coffee shop van, serving excellent coffe and paistries.
