I don't think that the Bears trio did much to enhance their international credentials for England Lions against South Africa today - Jake Lintott 10 overs, 0-89; Sam Hain 0; Adam Hose 4.

There was a lot of "Buffet" bowling from the England side, with some good batting from the south Africans.

Overall an enjoyable days play at New Road

I’m surprised that Hose and Hain both struggled. Technically they’re both pretty strong and have good intent. Hose’s dismissal was a shame because he just picked out the man.

I’m less surprised by Lintott, I think a lot of his success has come from him bowling with an unusual and rare style. Which isn't going to work at international level because players are better, and will eventually get worked out over time domestically as players are more used to it and there’s more work on tape to study.
