The more I see of Barnard the less I'm convinced

He shouldn't be anywhere the t20 side, and I've been saying that for a few weeks now.

Well ahead of the required run rate here...

This is frustrating as Yates was dragging us back into it.

Will we be helped or hindered by DL here? It’ll reduce the number of runs needed but also increase the RRR

I think with Worcestershire and Durham tying and Lancashire being washed out, we are guaranteed a home quarter final no matter what happens here…

BBC says we're behind the DLS but hasn't said what it is - anyone know?

One of the most entertaining and strange T20 match I have ever watched!

All the better to have won it

Lintott, that innings against Essex was a great warm-up for tonight but terrific runs from Yates. Great to keep on winning, please let us get one in the quarter-finals.

What a great win from that position.

Absolute gem of a knock from Yates - I really doubted him in T20 but he's made a big difference since coming into the side.

I just worry that Hassan is going to be a major loss.

Not sure if any other team has lost four wickets in the same over of a T20 match and gone on to win it.
Whilst delighted for the win, sad to see Olly Stone only managing to bowl three balls before leaving the field.

Jake Lintott can genuinely bat. Proper shots with good timing, Sunday and today. Remarkable win.

Four down in the first over and we pulled off a great win in a crazy match

A remarkable victory in view of the first over being 7 for 4! I see Olly Stone only managed to bowl 3 balls before he had to leave the field. I think it was the correct decision to let him go as he's so injury prone. It won't help England's Ashes series either!

Also considering no Hain, Moeen, Woakes, Briggs, Miles currently available.

I really like these sort of wins. A great character forming experience for a young, developing team. And what a lovely relaxing afternoon to look forward to on Sunday! 😎 Terrible for Olly Stone and wonder mentally how much more he can take of this. Sure all of us here wish him all the best.

Feel desperately for Olly.
But you start to wonder how mental it is. You start looking for things that other bowlers might ignore. Struggle to bowl through minor issues because you’re scared of the huge injury.
I know there’s those that suspect that might be Norwells problem last year.

It is no surprise what has happened to Stone. If you work out how many days per year he has played (I have not but 158 games in all formats since 2012), it probably amounts to very few. Even when we signed him, he was injured and took ages to make his debut. No one seemed that bothered when he left for Notts because we had not seen much of him anyway. Pity because when he was firing, he was fast and great to watch. I would hope that Woakes will be back for the quarter final or are England going to keep him in the squad let him carry the drinks, AGAIN.
