This ground we're playing at tomorrow, is it easy to get to on public transport? Has anyone ever been?
Thanks in advance.

It is not ideal, nearest town is Mansfield, a bus runs between Mansfield and Worksop on the main A60, then a 5 min walk. Not sure how often the busses run, there might be some sort of curtesy bus from Notts, as it is slightly out in the sticks.
Have you tried using the direction option in google maps?
It will give you public transport options and timings.

Yeah looked was coming up like 3 odd hours in total, thought I'd ask on here to get a 'real life' take. Cheers
It looks a nightmare and, frankly, a bit of a dump to be honest.
Is it Welbeck Colliery?
Evocative - but not really in a bucolic way. Sort of Sean Bean evocative. Guardian wrote about giant Pylons there.

From the Notts website:
Welbeck Cricket Club is situated at The John Fretwell Sporting Complex, Sookholme Road, Sookholme, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, NG19 8LL.
Directions: Sookholme Road is the B6407 and, coming from the direction of Mansfield, is a left turning off the A60 between Mansfield Woodhouse and Spion Kop. The ground is opposite the Hostess Restaurant and 500 metres from the junction with the A60.
Car parking
The main entrance to the ground will be reserved for players, match officials and disabled parking. However, on-site car parking is available 100 yards past the main entrance on the right hand side, priced at £7 (£5 to Nottinghamshire Members). This will be signposted accordingly on the day.
Travelling By Train
A regular rail service runs between Nottingham and the nearest stations to the John Fretwell Sporting Complex – Mansfield (4.1 miles), Mansfield Woodhouse (2.8 miles) and Shirebrook (1.7 miles).
Local taxis will allow you to complete your journey, including ACE ABC (01623 654321) and Six Five Twos (01623 622222).

Charlie Taylor in, Lintott out. Malik still in the 13...
Pleased to see Charlie in, but suspect it’ll be an unchanged team.

I dont think they restrict access around the ground like Rugby....

Very interesting. I guess that means it will be the end of Jake's career with us.
