Any scorecard for this?

Massive, massive win in terms of the development of this young side.

I don't want to sound like I'm getting my excuses in early but the Sibley situation has really done us here.

Anyway, Hain and Lamb played well there.

Rhodes got a shocker at the end there.

Sibley situation is such a blow, it's really messed us up. Think Yates is so much more comfortable, psychologically if anything, batting at 3 as opposed to opening.

It's the lower order too, everywhere I look I see teams putting on 150+ with numbers 8, 9, 10 and 11. Not us though!

The innings from Sam was a positive, he looked very comfortable batting, until he was out.

Lamb did seem to be reaching for a ball that should probably have been left, but it wasn't the worst dismissal of the innings.

Indeed not the worst dismissal but probably the most the frustrating. You can't do all the hard work of seeing of Broad and Paterson, and look very competent in doing so, and then get out to a Lyndon James loosener. Criminal.

Anyway, good game to win from here...

That was a bad dismissal, Lamb.

I'm normally the most optimistic of Bears fans...but this is rubbish.

I was never keen on him when he was with us. Good player though.

I've been screaming for us to play 6 batsmen.

Couple of them Derby dismissals looked a bit iffy didn't they? And throughout the 4 days I thought the umpires were very keen to get off at even the slightest chance of any light drizzle...

On to the next one...

Notts away, are we expecting any changes? Vihari in? Stone in? Members in?!

Can we do this?!

Yeah ive missed, Eakin, Taylor and Wilford.

Good battling from Lamb and Bresnan today, can't have been easy with the rain delays etc. Lamb latched onto anything short and wide, didn't miss out, and Bresnan played close to his body. Pitch looks OK, ball coming on, overheads are clearly causing havoc though. It was tough viewing at times for us Bears fans!

Perhaps. At 140-4 they were looking at getting up to around 250. We took the last 7 wickets for 46 runs.

Agree on Rhodes, how an on field umpire can give that out is beyond me.

We'd have taken this at the start.

The best performances in 4 day cricket have come when we play 6 batsmen. 3 seamers, Briggs and Rhodes as 5th bowler should be more than enough bowling wise.

XIII for tomorrow

Rhodes, Sibley, Yates, Hain, Lamb, Mousley, Burgess, Brez, Brookes, Norwell, Miles, Briggs, OHD.

Norwell and Miles miss out for me. Norwell could easily get in ahead of Brookes though.

Seems legit. Fair well Pete, we hardly knew ye...
