Please survive tonight

If it’s a broken fingernail he’ll be out for the season.

For the love of god drop Davies. He’s crickets Ali Dia.

We miss Brennan in all forms of the game as much for his off the field motivational skills as his on field experience and determination.

He made it beyond the first over.

Never has someone been so inappropriately named.

Would be even better if County Cricket was televised on terrestrial tv. With a couple of free family entry days thrown in over Bank Holidays or Kids Holidays (obviously a reduction in membership costs to reflect this).

Agree about Brookes though I have down graded my expectations. He does not appear to have improved any aspect of his game since be broke though. He seems to snarl a lot, chunter at the batter then get smacked around the ground, rinse and repeat.

Hain faced 2 balls and was out twice.

Same old wheels flying off. Same old excuses (decisions went against us, injuries, inexperience, better next year). Rinse and repeat in 12 months.

At times it has been Tyrrellble to witness

Things could all change. But today has shown the problem of having a very inexperienced, young bowling line up.
Chasing 280, which is roughly what it should have been, is very different to chasing 320. That immediately puts pressure on the batsmen anyway. And unlike this sides young bowlers, Yorkshire have the experience to really put the brakes on which we’ve seen in this match taking it’s toll on the form of wickets.
These players will all learn from this, better death bowling, better economy in the middle overs, and do better putting together a chase of this size next time.

I remember numerous similar responses to our performances 2 years ago. I hope you are right.

Changes on and off the pitch, some expensive acquisitions that come with a big reputation but the truth is, it's Groundhog Day

Don't worry, the whole range will be on the clearance rail at £5 an item by September.
