Disappointing no live stream due to being on Sky Sports !! As I don't have Sky Sports I am restricted to following on Crickinfo !!

EB take away Stirling's first game and how many runs has he scored? The club paying a lot to add Stirling and have gained nothing so far. Assuming he plays tonight, though, I do hope I am proved wrong

Great game to watch last night. However we have to find a way of not losing wickets in the power play. 3 down inside first 6 overs really puts the pressure on.

Harsh decision against Brathwaite IMO. 5 run penalty for ball catching batsman's foot on its way to the stumps.

Thank goodness Hain is in such form.
Questions have to be asked about Stirling. My view of overseas players is they either have to put bums on seats or improve the quality of the team. Stirling is doing neither. He should either be dropped or put lower down the order.

What a partnership between the 2 H's !! Yates deserves to remain as opener and I suppose Stirling will join him. Watching the game on YouTube that outfield certainly looked very fast.

Hopefully Stirling will not be missed!! Given his record since the first game what will happen on Sunday if, today, our openers get off to a flying start?

Stirling really is turning out to be a one match wonder. If he is to continue being selected surely it would be best if he dropped down the order so hopefully we can get some runs on the board before the first wicket falls

Davies is turning out to be an effective opener is this format!! Perhaps Stirling could drop to number 3

Paul I am watching it on You Tube from the start

I too am a lover of baseball having been at the St Louis Cardinals and also at the Mets. I too noticed the great family atmosphere and how spectators around us enjoyed explaining the finer points of the game to us Brits

I hope today's 8 over game having an exciting finish does not give the ECB the idea of introducing a Half-Hundred format!!

One answer could be that once a player has been substituted whether as batsman, bowler or fielder then he takes no part in the rest of the game.

I reckon a team should look to double the score reached at the end of the 12th over providing the wickets are in hand. Leics managed to do just that despite being 5x wickets down!! They simply should not have been able to get to that score.

It still amazes me that the heirarchy want a successful test side and yet over the years not only continue to reduce the number of red ball games but at the same time introduce more and more slog cricket with no time for a batsman to build an innings.
When one day cricket was introduced we had 60 over and 50 over games. The opportunity was there for the top 4 to spend some time at the crease. Then not satisfied with bringing in 20 over games this lot decide to reduce it to 100 balls!!
It's like Jaguar saying they want to build the best quality executive car and deciding the way to do that is to develop something akin to the Reliant Robin!!!

A Stirling performance and Hain looks in good nick this season too!! I just wonder what we would have got with the full 20 overs.

There used to be an old saying about winning the toss. Considering fielding first - then think about and then decide to bat first! Certainly it looks like another wrong decision to field first

Car PArk charges is a British decease. Everywhere you go if there is an opportunity to make money from car parking then that opportunity is grasped with both hands. Over in France is similar to the US experience - Hospitals, Seaside resorts, city centres all free or at least loads of free spaces available. It is a shame that Warks has gone down the same road. I too remember the 90s with the very reasonable charge

Is anyone really surprised? Nothing about The Hundred is attractive to me and the sooner it meets its demise the better. 20 over and 50 over is enough white ball cricket

UrsaMinor - The cc games were played Thursday Friday Saturday Monday with the 40 over game on Sunday. If it was only 3 days then it started on a Friday. We are talking about 1990s - memory fades
