On the old forum there used to be plenty of debate about Leics Derbys and Northants with some suggesting there should be a merger because they are not good enough.

Well Leicestershire have gained promotion so a short trip to Grace Road to follow Warks is something to look forward to.

Just received email from Edgbaston (not WCCC!) regarding major fixrtures next year. With a test against Pakistand scheduled for 9th-13th September Finals day is likely to be pushed back to virtually the end of September. If it wasn't for the Hundread the Finals could be held in August like it used to be when the weather is warmer. Such a shame.

Just been and had a look at the fixture list on WCCC web site. The T20 team is titled Bears with no mention of the second city. Hopefully that will be permanent.

Also noticed women's game are merged in with the men's game. One thing they must be careful with is calling the women's T20 team Bears Women. Can't afford any predictive spelling errors there !!
