I have also heard that they have some concerns about whether his body will hold up, but I'm sure even with those concerns he can manage more than 9 overs

I think more than 20 or 30, Andy. I think they got an extra 50 there.

Bad decision on Wheel, bad decision on Yates too

I think Simmons pace won the day. I'm assuming Westwood sees him as the Booth replacement and wants one pace merchant in every game.

Rushworth perhaps to get some overs in for the seconds

He has been interviewed on the talksport cricket podcast, Following On:

If it's Ali and Simmons that miss out (which is likely) then our attack will be very same-y

Yeah, this game is crying out for a frontline spinner. Not sure what Taz Ali has done wrong

Troughton at lunch time was interesting and entertaining although Qs from the audience weren’t allowed denying me to ask him how he felt about having the play as Birmingham Bears.

He was alleging Warks have doctored the pitch to ensure a high scoring draw because of surreys bowling attack.

Really hope we can bring them down a peg or two!

We wouldn't be the first to do that this season... Might be a tactic every team uses when at home against them

Sibley is going to bat for two days on this isn't he

Maybe it's canny from Westwood knowing that Booth will drop out as and when Latham comes in so is saying 'rested' rather than saying dropped

What was wrong with the decision?

Agreed on Bamber - a young seamer we've been looking for, for years! Just hope he stays fit.

Awful shot selection from Davies there.

Need to break this partnership else it will turn into another game where we're on top and lose our potential winning position

No Hain!

Must be injured as said above, which takes a huge amount out our batting. Perhaps that's why we're bowling first?

13 man squad announced:

Davies
T Ali
Bamber
Barnard
Booth
Hain
OHD
Malik
Mousley
Shaikh
Smith
Webster
Yates

This is included in the membership, will anyone be attending any games?

There's a lot of loose bowling here. Notts bowlers did have better conditions but used them well by being very consistent with their lines and lengths.

We're offering a boundary ball nearly every over it feels like.

If we get skittled very quickly then we will have the same conditions!

But yeah I think they'll get generally better conditions when batting so we'll have to get runs (and probably to save a draw) in our second innings.

And he got 4 wickets first innings last time round, I think he's earnt his place for this game

First bit of cricket i'll be watching in the flesh this season.

Any changes for this one? OHD potentially fit according to Westwood - if so I would bring him in for Fernando but it's unlikely that Fernando will be dropped in his third match of a three match deal
