Call me cynical but I think the real mover was branding in the 16.4/16.4, making sure the Birmingham Whotsit's alone bears the city's name. It's the first time I've ever had anything positive to say about the thing. I suspect it will be a while before it happens again.

Not sure about 2025 but the membership brochure for next year says that B5 white ball membership gives full voting rights.

A proposal at the AGM to leave the members' committee as is, with the caveat that changes to the structure of the CC needs to be approved by the membership as a whole might help. Given the number of white ball only members there is now, including the Blast in the proposal could increase the chances of it getting approved.
