Whilst it has been an excellent test series despite a few gripes (slow overs, Duke balls not lasting) I think it'll would've been a better series if the Tests were spaced out properly to reduce injuries and allow the players proper rest.
Sadly the ridiculous insistence that cricket must be placed on a hiatus to allow for the garbage 16.6 overs game means that the series was dimished.
Anyone agree?
I don't like the concussion sub rule in IT20 as it seems to be abused. Any thoughts?
Just found out that a small road I walk past in Corsham, Wilts, every day, Kinnear Close, is named after the only first class county cricketer to come from Corsham who played for Warwickshire and had one Test appearance. He actually came from the small hamlet of Pickwick which was fully absorbed into Corsham in the 1920s and is about 1000 yds from Corsham town centre.
