Nice comfortable winning margin! Good to see Olly Stone's return. I see Worcester lost again - 1 win in 6 games against you know who!

Terrible run out for Brathwaite - never a single there. Losing Hain in the same over was disastrous. Worcester had lost all their first 4 matches prior to today, that tells it's own story.....

Yes, not a good decision to bowl first. As I've said before, England bowlers Woakes and Stone would make a big difference to the bowling attack.
Still New Road has short boundaries, so we need a good contribution from Stirling to get off to a solid start.....

Can Burgess play in the T20?
I think we're somewhat hampered without Hain (batting) and, of course, Woakes (bowling & Batting) Stone and Norwell (bowling). Even Dan Mousley is another good batting choice, unfortunately still out.
That is a lot of serious quality missing.

Poor display. Yes, Brathwaite needed the strike. Surely as captain he should've instructed the lower order batsmen?

Good win today. Well done to Chris Benjamin. Why did Hain miss today's game? Hopefully it's not anything serious?

Probably will be the same team. When is Dan Mousley likely to be fit, he must be close, surely?

With the form Burgess is in, I struggle to see how he's left out. Who would you rather see, Davies or Burgess?

That was too close for comfort! This is where Woakes, Stone and maybe Norwell are needed. Although Brathwaite seemed to get clobbered along with Miles and Brookes....

Paul Stirling hit 119 off only 51 balls including 34 off one over! Now that's serious power hitting. Hain also did well in their partnership. Surely we can reach finals day this year?

Excellent debut innings by Paul Stirling!

Davies failed again with 7 runs. I'd rather have the in-form Michael Burgess playing - he's a wicket keeper.

Burgess, with his big hitting surely has to be selected?

Chris Woakes still not fit. There is no timescale on his return from a knee problem according to Warwickshire. This isn't good news...... for England and The Bears.

Well done to Sam Hain and Will Rhodes! It shows what a bit of application can achieve. I can see Hain on England's radar soon if he keeps this up. If he was playing for Surrey, Kent, Sussex etc., the media would most definitely be pushing it!

Another top order failure. Davies is not an opener in the 4 day format - probably more suited to the white ball format. The bowling is looking mediocre - is the departure of Welch the difference? I wish they'd have appointed AD as the bowling coach....apparently he applied for the role?
We're really going backwards this season, which is a big disappointment after the highs of last year.

269/4. Yorkshire have a firm grip on this game. Not much threat from the bowlers, although Brookes has bowled some good spells. Woakes, Norwell and Stone being unavailable is really affecting us. Also, the loss of Welch and retirement of Bresnan can't be underestimated....

Mind you, Henry has picked up the prize wicket of Joe Root!

Henry Brookes only bowling at 78-81mph. A fair bit slower than a couple of seasons ago when he was bowling 90mph?

Davies failed again. Why do we keep playing him as an opener? Play Sibley and Yates for heaven's sake!
