A decent day in the end. Good bowling to keep their score below 300.
One thing: why can't the Government allow say 2,000 into the stadium in the open air? Especially those vaccinated or tested, obviously well spread apart in a 25,000 capacity stadium. The Crucible (indoors) people are watching the World Snooker - around 300 per session in a capacity of just under 1,000. I don't get it.

Good from Olly Stone. 2 important wickets to break that stand.

As the saying goes: catches win matches....

Norwell has a heel injury, hopefully back soon. He is somewhat injury prone? A lot of promise but rarely fit for a sustained period.

Good to hear. A true Bear

Any team news yet for Essex?

Thought I'd start the thread for the Essex game.

Can we build on the win at Trent Bridge?
What team changes do you expect to see?

Mousley to start to cover for Sibley? What's happened to Henry Brookes? Perhaps he comes in as well?

Yes, what a brilliant run chase. Well done to Tim Bresnan! I'm happy to be proved wrong! This should give the team massive confidence now!

Unlikely, but can the lower order put up a fight?

The Bears are really hamstrung by not having Sibley in both innings. Daft rule in cricket not to be allowed a sub for any injuries.

A good stand between Hain & lamb....can we pull off an unlikely win? Still a tall order to get another 168.....if only Sibley could bat!

My first post guys. I think we'll be bowled out cheaply. Batting couldn't have gone worse with Sibley out.
