With an 11 day break until we play Surrey is Liam likely to be fit by then? If fit, he will add even more potency to the seam attack.

Well done to the Bears! Great win and top of the table is a great start to the season. One concern going forward is how is Liam Norwell? It would be great to add him into the mix soon especially after his heroics last September. We have an 11 day break now before facing off against Surrey.

A great first day! The batting looks so much stronger this year already. Above all, the start to this campaign will have instilled much needed confidence to the whole squad.

Is Liam Norwell still injured? If so, a bit of a worry with the season just started. He does seem to miss a lot of cricket.

I feel it's a chance missed, they shouldn't have got past 200. Norwell missing already is a worry. Also, why is Jack Leach playing and Woakes isn't?

Norwell injured already? I'm sure I read he was raring to go only a couple of days ago. That doesn't sound good if it's a back problem....

I read that Maxwell will likely miss the first couple of T20's anyway due to IPL commitments.

I really thought that a specialist opening batsman would've been signed to especially fill the void left by Sibley's departure.

No cap for Norwell? He was instrumental in the Title win in 2021 and keeping us in Division 1 with an unbelievable 9 wickets against Hampshire.

Hants 56/4.....a glimmer of hope, but we're probably 40 runs short. Lamb and Burgess should've played and they might've got those runs and probably a bigger score in the first innings. These decisions are huge and the selectors/management need to explain themselves.

Hain getting run out is reckless. Pretty much guarantees 2nd division cricket next year.......Robinson needs to go. Get Gilo and AD back in....!
