Apparently, Craig Miles is set to re-join Gloucestershire - probably a good move for all concerned.

Excellent news. He has been, and always will be, a second division bowler. Hopefully we can recruit better with his salary off the books.

Good luck to him if so.

Can be a very decent bowler on his day but not good enough for Div 1.

Comes across as a good bloke so hope it works out for him.

Fair play to him. Seemed a nice lad and was good v Surrey particularly at their place but he's a long way off being a regular with us again.

He can have no complaints, Warwickshire have been incredibly good to him over the years. Good luck, Milo.

Bowled well up to the CC winning season and in THAT game v Somerset where we clinched it but not much after. When he was on song, he was good but on a bad day... A bit like Melvyn Betts when he was here.

Certainly never got much love on this forum nor, in recent years, from Warwickshire management. His record for us wasn't bad 105 wickets at 32.4. Taking 47 wickets at 21 in our county championship winning season. Could hold a bat, was a good and enthusiastic fielder and although his record in recent seasons was no great shakes he had to bowl on some very bland wickets - particularly at Edgbaston. I'll be sad to see him go but clearly the coaches don't have confidence in him and a new contract at Gloucestershire extends his career and hopefully will go well.

fair enough his stats in both cases are better than I would have thought, thanks

and yes I will certainly always remember the way he'd chase balls down and hurl himself around as a boundary-rider, very athletic and committed fielder for a big fast bowler

Yeah great fielder, no question.
